In this episode, I’m joined by Melissa Wood.
Melissa Wood studied elementary and early childhood education, as well as early childhood special education. She has been in the field for nearly 20 years and has a passion for child development. She finds her current role as the Early Education Director for a Supervisory Union in northern Vermont very rewarding and loves digging into the research to support early learning.
As a mom of her own preschooler, Melissa is able to connect foundational skills into her family’s daily home routines. There are no workbooks, drills, or practicing – it just happens naturally, and she’s excited to share some tips with you.
Tune in as we dig into early literacy and how you can support skill development in your everyday routines.
