Beth Geoffroy
Hello! My name is Beth. I once was an elementary classroom teacher, but now I have been running my own tutoring business since 2012! I love working with students in a one-on-one environment where we can really tailor the instruction to meet their needs.
I also love creating fun and meaningful activities for teachers to use in their classrooms to supplement their instruction. Since the pandemic, many educators have reached out to me to learn how to do online tutoring. Running a business isn't exactly something that all educators know how to do. That's where I can help! I've taught myself a lot of the tricks along the way, and I hope to be able to empower more educators to do more of what they love and less of what they don't.

I am a certified Reading Interventionist, teacher, wife, and mom to two beautiful children living in Vermont. I grew up here and chose to return here to raise my family. We love being outside!
I am a passionate educator and am always looking for creative ways to make learning fun. While I loved being a classroom teacher, I decided I wanted more time with my young children. As they got older, I realized I missed teaching and have fallen in love with tutoring online. It gives me the best of both worlds! I can make authentic connections with students and help them grow as learners, and also be the mom I want to be for my children.
I went to college at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. I graduated with an associates degree in Early Childhood Education and a bachelors in Elementary Education. I taught in elementary classrooms for 7 years, always with a focus and passion for Reading and Writing. I began teaching online in the summer of 2017 and haven't looked back. I enjoy working 1-1 with my students. It allows me to personalize learning and watch them grow in their skills and confidence.
